The 2025 Midlands Horse & Pony Racing Association (MHPRA) season kicks off in style this Sunday, 8th June, with a high-quality card at Navan Racecourse. With nine exciting races, familiar names, and prize pots of up to €1000, the stage is set for an outstanding day of racing.
Entries will be taken this Sunday only by Ollie Finnegan between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at 085 2095438.

📍 What to Expect
This Sunday’s meet is the official opening fixture of the MHPRA Midlands calendar, and with racing legends like Gordon Elliott, Gavin Cromwell, and Paul Carberry offering sponsorship to the sport, the quality on show will be exceptional.
The showpiece event is the Brownstown Cup, a 1m4f open race offering the biggest prize on the card – €1000. Expect strategy, stamina, and serious competition.
