There will be a beginner’s only pony race in Dartfield, Loughrea on May 15th. It’s a beginners only and all breds allowed race, Jockeys must be eights years and older, with parental consent.
Trophies for all jockeys in the local pony race are kindly sponsored in memory of a wonderful and talented horseman and past superstar pony racing jockey, Oisín Patrick Kelly, Taughmaconnell, RIP.
This will be a non-whip race, back protectors and certified helmets must be worn, with gumshields recommended.
